I'm not big on themes, but somehow it ended up that there's another St. Catherine one today. Maybe we can keep this going all week? Nothing like some midday hagiography to get me going.

I never realized the Virgin Mary was so business savvy...
It's actually not her, I think... I Wiki'd Catherine and discovered that she was a third-century martyr from Rome who they had to kill about five times before she finally expired. And for some reason, lots of art depicts her as "marrying" the infant Christ. I have no idea why, because the article had no information, but that strikes me as really creepy. *shrug?*
But you are correct about the savviness, madam! Can you imagine if she had actually charged a nickel for every babytouch? She'd have a toilet of solid... um, nickel.
